Guruvayoor Temple in Kerala
Guruvayoor Temple, Kerala Journey Packages Guruvayoor, where the popular Sree Krishna Forehead is located, is one of the most holy and essential pilgrim organizations of Kerala. The surfaces of the sanctum sanctorum are mounted with beautiful painting artwork and designs.
In Kerala, this is probably the only temple that serves the most of weddings and grain providing events (the practice first food for infants).
It was also the hub of the 'Guruvayoor Sathyagraha' , a ancient activity strenuous temple access privileges for the 'so called' reduced castes.
The ancient temple is surrounded in secret. According to regional perception, the temple was designed by 'Guru', the 'preceptor of the gods' and 'Vayu', the 'god of winds'.
The southern 'nada' is the primary access to the shrine. In the 'Chuttambalam' (outer enclosure) is a 33.5-m great gold-plated 'Dwajastambham' (flagpost).
There is also a 7 m great 'Deepastambham' (pillar of lamps), whose 13 round containers offer a truly brilliant scene, when lit.
The rectangle 'Sreekovil' is the holy sanctum sanctorum of the temple, real estate the primary deity.
Within the temple, there are also the pictures of Ganapathy, Sree Ayyappa and Edathedathy Kavil Bhagavathy. Only Hindus are permitted in the temple.
Punnathoorkotta, which is at a range of 2 kms from Guruvayoor is house of 50 temple monsters, provides uncommon eyeglasses of the soothing pachyderm.
